On July 25, the 2026 International Advanced Air Mobility Expo officially concluded. Attracting 452 domestic and international exhibitors, the event showcased the complete industrial landscape and technological prowess of China’s low-altitude economy. Launching the Open Ecosystem Alliance: Building a Collaborative Platform
On the first day of the expo, AvioNova, together with the Civil Aviation University of China (CAUC) and 13 supply chain partners, officially launched the Advanced Air Mobility Avionics & Flight Control Open Ecosystem Alliance.
James Liu, CEO of AvioNova, stated that low-altitude flight safety cannot be achieved by a single company; it requires full-chain synergy across chipmakers, hardware/software providers, testing agencies, academic institutions, and OEMs. Through standardization, generalization, and scaling, the alliance aims to achieve a commercial closed-loop, propelling the industry forward in the critical leap from prototype to mass production.
Strategic Signings Secured: Accelerating the Airworthiness Process
During the expo, AvioNova completed airworthiness-phase procurement signings with two eVTOL OEMs:
·EVT AEROTECHNICS: Signed the Letter of Intent for the Airworthiness Phase Procurement of the ET9 Manned Avionics System Solution, further consolidating AvioNova’s avionics leadership in the lift-plus-cruise sector.
·YEEFLY: Signed the Letter of Intent for the Airworthiness Phase Procurement of the ES1000 Flight Control Solution, deepening the long-term partnership in the flight control domain.
James Liu pointed out, “More and more customers are transitioning from the proof-of-concept phase to the airworthiness certification phase. This indicates that the industry is moving from simply ‘building it’ to ‘flying it safely and compliantly.’”
Fusing Industry and Education: Shaping the Future of the Sector
Addressing the industry-wide shortage of interdisciplinary aviation talent, AvioNova signed an agreement with CAUC to establish a joint postgraduate training base. This initiative aims to cultivate professionals skilled in avionics development, system testing, and airworthiness certification, securing core talent for the long-term growth of the low-altitude economy.

Centered around the theme “Mastering the Sky, Pioneering the Future,” AvioNova’s booth featured three major zones—Core In-House R&D, System Integration, and Open Ecosystem—comprehensively showcasing its full-stack avionics and flight control solutions.
At the AAM Commercialization Forum, Jakkie Mao, Marketing Director of AVIAGE SYSTEMS and CGO of AvioNova, delivered a keynote speech titled “Solving the Pain Points of AAM Commercialization: The Path to Market from an Avionics & Flight Control Perspective.” He emphasized that avionics and flight control systems must evolve from component supply to top-tier Tier 1 system integration.
