During COMAC 2019 Supplier Conference, AVIAGE SYSTEMS won a special award “2018 Supplier of the Year - On-site Support Excellence Award” with great honor! It is this first time that COMAC set up this award and AVIAGE SYSTEMS is the first and only winner!

COMAC 2019 supplier conference was held in Ordos on 26th March. More than 600 representatives from about 130 domestic and global suppliers for both ARJ21 & C919 program attended this event. AVIAGE SYSTEMS won the first and the only one award - On-site Support Excellence Award with great honor! George Chang, President and CEO received the award on behalf of the company at the meeting. COMAC recognized AVIAGE SYSTEMS for our all-round, real-time, efficient communications and excellent on-site support in the past year, which truly guaranteed successful flight testing for C919 AC101 & AC102 and a successful first flight of AC103. Executive Vice President Zhiqiang Zhu, Project Management VP Qiong Wu, Engineering VP Mohamed Eladl, Marketing & Product Development VP Haowei Bai, Operations Director David Yu, IT Department Manager Stephen Fu, and Customer On-site Support Project Manager Cody Li were also invited to attend the meeting.

This is the fifth consecutive year that AVIAGE SYSTEMS wins COMAC annual supplier award. The company has received On-site Support Excellence Award, Cooperation Achievement Award,  Performance Excellence Silver Award (twice) and the Performance Excellence Gold Award. All of these awards are authentic recognition and encouragement from COMAC for AVIAGE SYSTEMS’ continuous efforts on C919.

Xinmin Zhou, COMAC Deputy General Manger re-emphasized in his concluding remarks that the year of 2019 is very key year for both ARJ21 and C919 to achieve the three 2021 goals of COMAC. He also mentioned that COMAC will work hard and closely with all suppliers to achieve the purpose of "Win-Win with High Quality and Efficiency ".

The year of 2019 is another critical year for C919 program and AVIAGE SYSTEMS.  As the Tier-1 supplier of C919 avionics systems and reliable partner to COMAC, the company will fully support the first flight of AC104 (May), AC105 (July) and AC106 (Oct.) and is ready for it. “I am very proud to receive the special award from COMAC again. This is a great recognition about our contribution on customer support in the past year and the honor belongs to the whole AVIAGE SYSTEMS team. We will keep the momentum in 2019 and support C919 to success!” CEO George Chang said.
