On December 5, 2025, AvioNova was awarded one of the “Top 20 Low-Altitude Industry Innovative Company 2025” on the 11th WIM Innovators Annual Conference, a global technology event —organized by EqualOcean. The award recognizes the company’s outstanding achievements in low-altitude, including advancing avionics and flight control systems in high-safety applications, exploring systematic development paths for the low-altitude industry, and leading in technological innovation. James Liu, CEO of AvioNova, was honored as one of the “Top 20 Low-Altitude Industry Innovators 2025”, a distinction that highlights his significant contributions to avionics and flight control in low-altitude applications.

James brings extensive experience in aviation and industrial enterprise management, with expertise spanning marketing, business development, operations, MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul), and engineering R&D. As CEO, he oversees AvioNova’s low-altitude business strategy across markets, products, engineering, projects, and operations. Leveraging parent company AVIAGE SYSTEMS’ proven track record in large civil aircraft avionics development and certification, he has led the team in introducing high-safety system capabilities into low-altitude scenarios, enabling applications in passenger transport and regional logistics.
