On September 28, 2025, Hefei, AvioNova (a subsidiary of AVIAGE SYSTEMS) and Hefei Range Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) regarding the procurement of flight control and cockpit display solutions for the LE200 project. Goldman Zhang, CTO of AvioNova’s flight control systems, represented the company at the signing ceremony.

According to the LOI, Range Aviation and AvioNova will continue their collaboration on the flight control system for the LE200 eVTOL program, while also exploring collaboration on avionics suites. AvioNova will provide design, development, manufacturing, and supply services for both the flight control system and cockpit display solution, in accordance with the RFP and proposal.

The letter outlines the work plan and arrangements required to finalize the master contract. Following the signing, both parties will immediately initiate the Joint Definition Phase (JDP) and begin negotiations on the master contract. This partnership continues the technical collaboration between the two companies that began in 2024, including AvioNova’s previous delivery of flight control blue label for the LE200 project and support for its first flight.

This cooperation marks the transition of their relationship from the technical validation phase to the commercial delivery preparation phase, providing a solid foundation for the LE200 project’s airworthiness certification and commercial operations. Leveraging its extensive experience in civil aviation avionics and its “AvioNova” series of avionics and flight control solutions, AvioNova aims to support the commercialization of China’s eVTOL industry.
