January 30, 2026 — AVIAGE SYSTEMS and China Express Airlines have signed a MOU to collaborate on intelligent voice and artificial intelligence technologies for civil aviation, marking a significant step toward deeper cooperation in flight safety, intelligent voice solutions, and AI applications. Building on their previous collaboration on the “Cockpit Voice Recognition Project,” the two parties intend to expand joint efforts in aviation AI applications, aircraft data connectivity, and intelligent voice recognition. Leveraging their respective industry and technological strengths, the two companies will explore the application of AI technologies within airline operations to enhance safety management and flight efficiency.

In alignment with the CAAC’s newly released Implementation Guidelines for High-Quality Development of “AI + Civil Aviation”, the two parties will apply AI-driven enhancements to traditional avionics systems. The collaboration aims to advance the risk management framework for regional airline operations, strengthen real-time risk control capabilities for flight crews, and ultimately support the deployment and adoption of domestically developed, high-end aviation safety products.

This MOU marks the second collaboration between China Express Airlines and AVIAGE SYSTEMS. In 2022, the two parties signed a procurement agreement for the “Cockpit Intelligent Audio Analysis System,” representing AVIAGE SYSTEMS’ first delivery of a flight safety–related product to an airline customer and supporting the airline’s digital and intelligent transformation. That agreement laid a solid foundation for further cooperation.

Wang Gengsong, Safety Director of China Express Airlines, stated: “We are pleased to continue our partnership with AVIAGE SYSTEMS and introduce advanced intelligent cockpit audio and AI technologies. These innovations will further enrich our safety oversight capabilities, enhance safety management, and improve the efficiency of incident investigations. Through this collaboration, we aim to elevate China Express Airlines’ flight safety performance and intelligent operational efficiency.”

Cody Li, Director of the BLU BU at AVIAGE SYSTEMS, commented: “We are honored to collaborate with China Express Airlines to jointly advance intelligent flight operations and apply AI technologies to enhance flight safety. AVIAGE SYSTEMS is committed to helping airlines improve operational efficiency and flight experience through innovative avionics solutions. This partnership will provide strong support for China Express Airlines’ intelligent operations and further contribute to enhanced flight safety.”
