At the 2025 International Low-Altitude Economy Expo, AVIAGE SYSTEMS formally delivered prototype avionics and flight control system kits for DREAMFLY’s DF3000 hybrid tiltrotor eVTOL. This milestone signifies a major step forward in the technical collaboration between both companies, injecting new momentum into China’s emerging low-altitude mobility industry.

DREAMFLY is developing the DF3000—a long-range, high-speed, hybrid tiltrotor eVTOL—with industry-leading progress in China and strong commercial potential.

The delivered prototype system is part of the AvioNova suite, tailored for DF3000. It includes:

• Flight control computers

• General-purpose & graphics computing units

• Cockpit display systems

• Air data and inertial navigation sensors

• Radio altimeters

• Ground station hardware/software

• Full system integration support

Together, these components serve as the “brain and central nervous system” for the DF3000, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations while accelerating certification and development.

AvioNova: Smart, Modular, and Lightweight

The AvioNova platform is built on the concept of “core R\&D + open ecosystem + system integration” :

• Core R\&D: Derived from AVIAGE SYSTEMS’ experience on the COMAC C919 IMA platform, ensuring high levels of safety and compliance for complex urban and low-altitude missions.

• Open Ecosystem: Hardware integration with trusted supply chain partners; software designed to host both native and third-party applications—enabling flexibility in supplier choices.

• System Integration: Extensive experience from major programs enables AVIAGE SYSTEMS to deliver Tier-1 level integrated solutions, reducing onboard components and cabling. Compared to traditional systems, the avionics kit weight is reduced by nearly 40%.

• The modular and open architecture not only improves maintainability and system upgrade potential but also speeds up airworthiness certification for next-gen aircraft like the DF3000.

Following delivery, the technical teams will begin system integration and flight test preparations, including roadmap planning for future software upgrades to ensure peak system performance.
