At the AEROFUGIA Supplier Conference held on March 17, AVIAGE SYSTEMS was honored with the “Annual Outstanding Contribution Award” in recognition of its excellence in avionics R&D, project collaboration, and delivery performance. Following last year’s “Progress Together Excellence Award,” this new accolade reflects AEROFUGIA’s continued trust in and recognition of the partnership between the two companies.
Driving eVTOL Development with a Commitment to Safety and Innovation
The low-altitude economy is rapidly reshaping the future of transportation, and the fast-growing eVTOL sector is raising the bar for avionics systems. In his keynote speech, James Liu, Vice President of AVIAGE SYSTEMS and CEO of AvioNova, emphasized:
“As we pursue ‘China speed’ in the low-altitude sector, we must uphold the bottom line of civil aviation–level safety. We need both safety and innovation, both quality and speed.”
He noted that the prosperity of the low-altitude economy requires not only technological breakthroughs but also a collaborative, reliable, and scalable industrial ecosystem.

Delivering Customer-Centric Innovation and Agility in the AE200 Program
Throughout the AE200 program, AVIAGE SYSTEMS demonstrated strong technical capability and operational agility, showcasing its commitment to customer success in the fast-evolving eVTOL market:
Accelerating Through Global Collaboration When an overseas supplier’s delays posed risks to the schedule, AVIAGE teams coordinated across North America, Japan, and Singapore, driving progress on multiple fronts and even taking on part of the supplier’s testing workload to ensure key milestones were met.
Boosting Efficiency Through Organizational Innovation To match the pace of the low-altitude industry, AVIAGE established a dedicated Low-Altitude Business Unit and optimized its operating model. Over six months, the team completed four major iterations and more than ten minor updates, adopting a “rapid, incremental” approach to enhance responsiveness and delivery efficiency.
Transparent Collaboration for Quality and Speed At a critical stage of the first aircraft’s airworthiness preparation, the two teams held differing professional views on technical pacing and verification depth. AVIAGE quickly initiated a multi-level, transparent communication mechanism, hosting AEROFUGIA’s project, engineering, and quality teams onsite for direct alignment. With shared understanding and mutual trust, both sides agreed to increase prototype and test resources and station engineers at secondary suppliers—using more intensive testing to support a more compressed schedule. This deep collaboration enabled the project to achieve an optimal balance between quality and speed.
These efforts not only earned AEROFUGIA’s recognition but also strengthened AVIAGE SYSTEMS’ competitive edge in the emerging low-altitude economy.
Building the Low-Altitude Ecosystem Together
This award represents both recognition and responsibility. Looking ahead, AVIAGE SYSTEMS will continue to uphold its principles of innovation, collaboration, and excellence, working closely with AEROFUGIA and industry partners to advance eVTOL avionics technologies, accelerate the maturation of the low-altitude industrial chain, and jointly embrace the golden era of China’s low-altitude economy.
