
Brief Description:
- The Process Excellence Manager will work consistently in practical and innovative ways towards AvioNova defined goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate competencies and the depth of engineering activity and product development acumen in work, develop and execute objectives for self and utilize experience or expertise to resolve problems. This role will also be expected to lead/guide others in solving complex problems, and have the ability to effect short-term and long-term business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Engineering, Program Management and Commercial process continuous improvement to satisfy the requirements of AS9100D and certification standards.
- Set up and maintain the process system of AvioNova, including release, modification and retire mechanism and provide the guidance and support as needed.
- Lead and manage process simplification, especially Engineering Process, to better serve the AAM market trend.
- Lead and manage COTS tools within AvioNova including planning and budget management to support multiple programs/projects execution.
- Oversee the compliance with processes and standards, share best practices across the teams.
- Maintain the regular tracking AvioNova resource and provide support on the resource planning and management
- Provide personnel support on the assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to standards, practices, procedures, and product /program requirements.
- Support the Bid and Proposal of new programs/projects in response to internal and external customer requirements.
- Recommend approaches to meet technical, project and business objectives.
- Keep strong working relationships with internal and cross-functional teams.
- Ad hoc tasks assigned by BU leaders
Qualifications Required:
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
- At least 10 years’ experience working with the design/analysis of complex Avionics products.
- Familiarity with software design and verification, complex logic design and verification.
- Familiarity with aircraft subsystems, particularly Avionics and associated regulations
- Understanding of the principles of the entire engineering development process, the associated documentation flow and associated tools.
- Familiarity with Engineering resource planning and management and deep understanding of Engineering effort for different activity in product development
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Qualifications Desired:
- MBA or MS in Engineering or advance degree in relevant majors
- Proven management experience in a related product or service
- Demonstrated leadership skills and proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including commercial, engineering, operations, and logistics
