Brief Description:

  • Responsible for overall planning, organization and control of the entire production cycle of AAM Products.
  • This role will take lead in building and optimizing a production management system that meets aviation and eVTOL requirements for high reliability and regulatory compliance. Ensures efficient, high quality, and on time production while overseeing compliance, quality, cost, and on-site operations in accordance with AS9100, CAAC, and other applicable industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end‑to‑end production planning and execution, translating company strategy and customer orders into feasible production plans, coordinating with product line teams, supply chain, and quality, and ensuring smooth, on‑time delivery.
  • Build and manage a high‑performing production team, including daily leadership, training, performance management, and establishing effective management mechanisms that strengthen collaboration and professionalism.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve production systems and SOPs to enhance efficiency, product consistency, and readiness for scale, while monitoring real‑time production progress and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Ensure robust quality and regulatory compliance, overseeing incoming, in‑process, and final inspections; leading root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions; and supporting AS9100 and CAAC audits with complete documentation and timely follow‑up.
  • Drive cost control and lean manufacturing, monitoring key cost indicators, optimizing material usage, promoting recycling and waste reduction, and implementing lean practices to improve efficiency as production volume grows.
  • Oversee equipment, on‑site operations, and safety, ensuring equipment reliability and utilization, maintaining strong 5S standards, and enforcing safety procedures through training, inspections, and hazard‑prevention initiatives.
  • Support additional operational tasks assigned by the line manager

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in aerospace/electronic/mechanical/industrial engineering or related fields preferred.
  • Over 8 years of manufacturing production management experience, including at least 3 years in flight control/avionics/aerospace industry with large team leadership experience.
  • Familiar with aviation regulations and AS9100 system, understand CAAC production and parts management requirements, and grasp aviation-grade product production characteristics and quality control points.
  • Proficient in production planning and scheduling; rich experience in lean production and process optimization, able to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional coordination skills, capable of guiding teams, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Familiar with production management tools (MES, ERP) and capable of promoting production digital transformation.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, rigorous work attitude, able to work under pressure and adapt to the aviation industry's fast pace.

Qualifications Desired:

  • Production management experience in aerospace complete machine manufacturers or core avionics suppliers preferred.
  • Familiar with the BOM structure and core material characteristics of flight control systems and avionics products.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams regarding process establishment and/or improvement.
  • Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize considerable and complex data.
  • Good negotiation and influence skills.
  • Lean or Green Belt Six Sigma certification.
