Brief Description:

• In this role, we seek a Product Manager with deep expertise in avionics systems, flight training simulator technology, ground support equipment (GSE) and market insight. The role will drive the full product lifecycle—from market research to delivery—while collaborating with TDM (Training Device Manufacturer) , R&D, sales, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric avionics simulation solutions and ground support equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Identify TDM customer and end user needs, industry trends, and competitor dynamics to develop data-driven product roadmaps.Define product requirements for avionics equipment, including airborne parts, rehosted software solutions, and retargeted systems, ensuring compliance with TDM technical specs and simulator training standards.Form and lead R&D teams (focused on desktop/web-based application software) to translate customer needs into actionable features, providing technical guidance for software-hardware integration (e.g., ARINC 610, ARINC 664 protocol compliance).Support sales and customer negotiations with TDM companies, addressing avionics-related inquiries and aligning product offerings with customer budgets and project timelines.Coordinate with project management, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality avionics simulation and GSE products that meet industry certifications and customer expectations.Gather post-delivery feedback from TDM customer, end users and internal teams to drive continuous product improvement and innovation.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Aviation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.More than 5 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably with focus on flight training simulator avionics or avionics equipment supply to TDMs.Deep understanding of flight training simulator avionics (e.g., airborne parts, rehost, retarget solutions) and their integration into TDM systems.Familiarity with application software development (desktop/web-based) for avionics; experience with software-hardware integration is a plus.Strong cross-functional communication skills, able to bridge technical teams (engineers) and non-technical stakeholders (customer, sales, quality and supply chain).Excellent market insight and problem-solving ability, with a track record of delivering products that meet customer and business needs.Proficiency in English (written/verbal) for technical documentation and TDM customer communications.Excellent communication and presentation skillsFluent in Chinese and EnglishWillingness to travel 20-30%

• Experience with avionics retrofit programs Product Management experience Proficiency in avionics communication protocols (e.g., ARINC Report 610, ARINC 664) is highly preferred.Knowledge of avionics software/digital solutionsExisting relationships with airlines/TDM in assigned territoryBasic knowledge of aircraft maintenance/repair GSE (Ground Support Equipment) is a plus.Strong communication and presentation skills as measured by previous technical presentations to customers and/or key stakeholders highly desired.A high-level of self-motivation, commitment and activity to attain corporate and personal goals.Ability and willingness to travel as required.
