Brief Description:

• Responsible for sourcing strategy and execution for assigned programs, including leading supplier selection, managing supplier relationships, driving commercial negotiations, and supporting new product introductions from supply chain perspective. Operate within aviation/eVTOL regulatory frameworks (AS9100, CAAC) to ensure compliance while optimizing cost and supply continuity.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate sourcing strategies based on program requirements and production plans, optimizing supply chain responsiveness and total cost of ownership.
• Own RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and lead supplier selection, assessment, and qualification.
• Manage the full supplier lifecycle — including development, evaluation, and performance management — for core direct procurement suppliers in the flight control/avionics domain (component suppliers, PCB/PCBA manufacturers, and material distributors).
• Assess supplier capabilities and capacity to support current and future technical and demand requirements; ensure suppliers can scale with business growth.
• Conduct supplier audits with a focus on aviation/eVTOL production certifications, quality systems (e.g., AS9100), and supply stability.
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, analyzing market environment and leveraging competitive dynamics to achieve cost targets.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and internal teams to complete supply, development, licensing, and service agreements as needed.
• Support new product introductions by providing supply chain inputs early in the design phase.
• Partner with product line and engineering teams to validate material requirements (BOM verification) and ensure alignment between sourcing plans and program needs.
• Identify, track, and manage supply chain risks, establishing alternative sourcing options for critical aviation/eVTOL-grade materials (e.g., core chips, sensors, and specialty components)
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives through negotiation, market analysis, and strategic sourcing to achieve total cost of ownership targets.
• Continuously improve sourcing processes and systems, including ERP optimization and supply chain data visibility.
• Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualifications Required:

• BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of sourcing experience in a fast paced and high-tech environment or other evidence of exceptional ability.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills both in mandarin and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.

• Knowledge of legal, financial and Avionics/Electronics components of Sourcing.
• Experience in planning, sourcing, contracting and supplier management.

• 25 - 50% travel.
