Brief Description:

• Reports to Quality leader to drive through product quality assurance, product quality control and program quality management activities to ensure the compliance with applicable regulatory authorities (CAAC/FAA/EASA), ISO9001/AS9100 standards and customer/company related requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality product delivery, handle MRB, and address customer request and concerns regarding quality and regulatory issues.
• Ensure the full compliance of aviation industry, certification authorities’ standards and other customer specified processes for manufacture and third-party product deliverables.
• Conduct quality control plan to ensure product identification & traceability, configuration management and all aspects across whole manufacturing process.
• Perform quality inspection on product and components and FAI against company process and requirements.
• Investigate non-conforming product/components, resolve quality issues to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Participate in supplier quality management, including supplier evaluation, FAI, product quality monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Support periodic internal/ external Audit and follow up corrective Actions till closed
• Support to improve quality performance via Quality Plan implementation.
• All other tasks assigned by the organization.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor or equivalent degree from an accredited university or college in mechanical or electronics related engineering
• Mechanical or electronics product knowledge is required. Understand mechanical drawings. Avionics product and industrial standards understanding such as IPC/ASME is a plus.
• Strong ownership and accountability
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively in fast-paced, heavily matrix environment.
• Clear, strategic, and critical thinker; proven experience in translating strategies into actionable plans.
• Strong process orientation during working and problem solving.
• English oral and written communication skills is required.
• Master basic computer office tools including Word, Excel, Power point etc.

Qualifications Desired:

• Knowledge in aviation qualification and certification/ regulations is preferred, AS9100 internal auditor is a plus
• Quality assurance and inspection experience in aviation or manufacturing industries, familiar with mechanical and electronic products/components quality management.
• Proficient in using the various types of inspection equipment and tools, and visual inspection aids appropriate for the products/components being inspected.
• Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global workforce
• Lean/Six Sigma experience is preferred
• Strong quantitative, analytical and project management skills
