Brief Description:

• The Software (SW) I&V Engineer works consistently in practical and innovative ways towards defined goals. In this role you will be responsible for work as software level integration and verification aspects first of all. You will utilize your experience or expertise to setup test environment, tool development, solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and have the ability to effect short-term business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for review system requirements and SW requirements.
• Be responsible for designing the test cases/procedures for customer project and/or certification, define and develop test environment and verification tools, execute test and generate reports.
• Capability to analyze failures, test issues and recommend solutions, etc.
• Develop and lead action plans to anticipate and respond to problems.
• Take part in test, I&V activities in lab and customer onsite.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder for issue trouble-shooting.
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
• Recommend approaches to meet the technical and program requirements in certain function area, independently or under certain guidance.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of plans to achieve technical requirements, scheduling, and contract commitments.
• Complete other tasks assigned by Manager on time with good quality, demonstrate accountability in daily work.

Qualifications Required:

• 5 years of work experience with Bachelor or master degree in Embedded Software, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automatic Control, etc.
• Experience with software integration process is preferred.
• Has the knowledge of the SW development process, integration and testing process.
• Understanding of operating system principles, experiences in real-time operating system performance evaluation, including CPU/memory usage, resource allocation analysis and etc.
• Familiar with Python or C/C++ programming language, etc.
• Demonstrated experience of using scripting language.
• Demonstrated experience to fix issues independently or under certain guidance.
• Ability to organize information and make timely and sound decisions.
• Good team player.
• Good English communication skills.

Qualifications Desired:

• Knowledge of DO-178B/C.
• Experience with ARINC 653, ARINC 429/825, ARINC 615A and other industry standards.
• Familiar with ARM Cortex-A architecture is preferred.
• Experience with software certification is preferred.
• Good team collaborator and be able to coordinate with internal and external groups.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional, global environment.
