Brief Description:

• In this role you will contribute to development of the core software within the Avionics Computing, especially for Flight Control Computer and other products for Advanced Air Mobility business, you are expected to define and complete work assignments independently to meet short-term and long-term project/business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for software Requirements, Architecture, Design, Coding and Integration from low level device drivers/BSP to upper-level applications
• Responsible for the software design, debug, integration with hardware or product integration of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
• Recommend software approaches to meet the technical and program requirements.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of plans to achieve technical requirements, scheduling, contract commitments and certification
• Develop action plans to find root cause and fix the problems
• Develop technical understanding and skills in line with the relevant assigned project requirements utilizing the capability building framework and resources provided.
• Assure documentation of technical data generated for the assigned tasks consistent with engineering policies, procedures and certification
• Ad hoc tasks assigned by BU leaders or customers

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in flight control, auto-flight, computer science, automation, electronics, etc.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in embedded software development by C/C++ programming, python, MATLAB, etc.
• Experience in real time operating system related software development and testing
• Experience in BSP and device driver development and testing
• Knowledge of circuits schematics and operate Oscilloscope is a plus
• Strong English read and written communication skills
• Ability to consistently produce high quality work in a production environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and good team work capability

Qualifications Desired:

• Experience with Avionics, Flight Control Computer and IMA products, computer, automobile
• Knowledge of DO-178B/C, DO-297, ARP4754 certification standards, SOI-1 to SOI-4 experience is a plus.
• Experience with ARINC 653, ARINC 664, ARINC 429, ARINC 615A and other industry standards
• Experience with RTOS utility and practice on related software development or test
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
