Brief Description:

• The Sourcing Manager is responsible for whole sourcing strategy for AvioNova as well as strategy execution including reviewing and optimizing sourcing processes, leading supplier selection, managing and developing supplier relationships, driving commercial cost reductions and supporting new product introductions from supply chain perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement end-to-end sourcing processes from demand planning to contract lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with other teams to assure compliance of sourcing program activities.
• Own RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs in support of AvioNova projects and lead supplier selection.
• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers by analyzing market environment.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and cross teams to complete supply, development, licensing and service agreements as needed.
• Manage life cycle sourcing programs including planning, execution, measurement, and continue improvement of program.
• Assess supplier capabilities and capacity to support AvioNova’ s current and future technical and demand requirements; ensure suppliers selected can scale and grow with AvioNova; manage supplier performance via KPIs
• Actively identify, track and manage issues and risks for the programs.
• Establish strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders as well as managing supplier relationship to strategic suppliers.
• Other duties as assigned by line manager.

Qualifications Required:

• BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of sourcing experience in a fast paced and high-tech environment or other evidence of exceptional ability
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills both in mandarin and English
• Proficiency in MS Office tools

Qualifications Desired:

• Experience in Aviation, Avionics or Electronics industries
• Knowledge of legal, financial and Avionics/Electronics components of Sourcing
• Experience in planning, sourcing, contracting and supplier management
• Experience in supporting the launch of new product introductions
• Experience in Lean and Six-sigma
• Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience applying these skills to resolve issues.
