Brief Description:

  • This Business Development (BD) Manager will be responsible for new business development in AAM market, including identifying new business opportunity and cultivating relationship with OEMs, to drive AvioNova’s business growth in AAM market.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for expanding AAM revenue streams
  • Identify potential customers, develop and maintain customer relationships at multiple levels
  • Be responsible for business strategy, opportunity pursuit, associated commercial bidding & all other operations related to AAM business with the support from other functions
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to meet business targets, such as revenue and profit
  • Execute the strategy/project as per the established plan with collaboration with related functions
  • Represents AvioNova at industry and customer events, to communicate AvioNova’s value propositions, understand customer pain points, and develop insights on market dynamics and technology trends

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, sales or competitive intelligence in aviation/avionics Industry
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing or a related field
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and be able to express commercial and technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Deep understanding of business needs and capabilities of AAM OEMs, and be able to innovate new ways of serving customers
  • Excellent organizational skills to set priorities and meet goals
  • Have an ability to work under pressure and in new environments
  • Willingness and ability to travel (up to 75%).

Qualifications Desired:

  • MBA or MS in Engineering or advance degree in relevant majors
  • Business development experience in AAM avionics industry
  • Proven sales experience or management experience in a related product or service
  • Good understanding of industrial policies issued and intended by governments
  • A lead-by-influence practitioner who is good at driving cross-functional project teams to meet demanding cost/schedule/scope objectives.
  • A customer champion who embraces listening to customers and is skillful of translating customer needs.
  • Extensive experience in negotiating contract price, terms and conditions.
