
Brief Description:
- This role will be responsible for the FPGA design and verification, which include defining top-level architecture as well as sub-level architecture, RTL coding, synthesizing, P&R, functional simulation and timing simulation, defining verification methodology, building verification test bench, verifying RTL functionality vs. requirements, performing timing analysis and code coverage checking.
- This role will also be assumed some project responsibility involving FPGA development planning, scheduling, cost estimating, and coordinating the FPGA development activities related to the completion of the overall project.
- This role will interact with project leaders and product managers, closely work with team that includes systems, hardware, software, safety, certification, production, to create an optimized solution.

Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and more than 7-10 years in FPGA design and electronics system design.Solid experience in FPGA design and verification using Verilog/VHDL, and System Verilog languages, strong RTL coding and simulation skills.Hands on experience in developing private IPs or utilizing commercial IPs in complex FPGA design, such as DMA, DDR3/4 controller, SPI/I2C/UART controller, etc.High-speed interface, such as PCIe, Ethenet, EMIF development experience is preferredAXI interface design, high-speed data acquisition and development experience is preferred.Familiar with the architecture of FPGA products from different vendors: AMD (Xilinx) and Microchip, understand their discrepancy, capable to choose the right FPGA product based on the functional requirements and cost performance targetHands on experience in one of FPGA development tools from AMD, Microchip.Experience with other types of FPGA and development tools is a big plus, such as Altera and Lattice FPGA“Can-do” spirit, be able to quickly adapt to changing environment, rigorous
Qualifications Desired:
- Strong RTL coding skills and knowledge: DMA, Memory, RAM/ROM, PLLs, and some knowledge of low-level communication protocols: AFDX, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, etc.Specific working experience in one or more of the following standards: ARINC 664, ARP4754, DO254, DO160Board level design experience is a plusFamiliar with airworthiness regulations and industry standardsAbility to independently achieve results in a cross-functional environment
