Brief Description:
- Reports to quality manager to ensure required MRO quality assurance event and quality control tasks are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations of CAAC/FAA/EASA and AVIAGE SYSTEMS’ policy and procedure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop quality tools and quality training to implement the quality improvement processes; Implementation of quality training within the repair station.
- Responsible for safety& quality investigation, collecting safety information from QSMS, initiating risk management, maintaining the hazard database, and monitoring the effectiveness of risk control measures.
- Responsible for supplier/subcontractor management, audit and investigation, evaluating supplier/subcontractor qualifications, and conducting continuous evaluations every two years.
- Responsible for quality inspection, including aircraft material inspection and maintenance inspection.
- Monitor the reliability of any components repaired by the repair station and workmanship techniques of technicians on units-in-process to analyses the defect of any repeated failure.
- Responsible for internal audits, preparing audit plans, and following up on corrective actions.
- Assist Quality Manager to revise related QSMS documents and verifying compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist the Quality Manager in organizing regular and irregular Quality and Safety Committee meetings and tracking and controlling the implementation of identified action items.
- Assist the Quality Manager to apply for maintenance capabilities.
- Carry out any other duties as and when required by the Quality Manager.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in electronics related.Minimum 5-year working experience in aviation MRO industry and more than 3-year experience of MRO quality inspection, with audit experience and quality investigation skills.Holding CCAR-66, Civil Aircraft Component Maintenance License, with technical English level 3 and above preferred.Familiar with CAAC/FAA/EASA Part 145 and related civil aviation regulations, basic maintenance skills, human factors, and SMS knowledge.Proficient in using the various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids appropriate for the article being inspected.Good cross-departmental communication skills, rigorous and patient work style, sense of responsibility.Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.No recorded misconduct in the civil aviation maintenance industry.
