
Brief Description:
- The technically skilled avionics Aftermarket Sales Representative drives sales of avionics components, upgrades, and support services to airlines, MROs, OEMs, and aircraft operators. This role focuses on maximizing revenue through spare parts distribution, retrofits, and repairs, while expanding channel partnerships. The ideal candidate possesses deep avionics systems expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record in aviation aftermarket sales.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of avionics components, piece parts, upgrade kits and ground support equipment
- Promote MRO services and service contracts and software / digital solutions
- Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets for assigned accounts and territories
- Develop pricing strategies and negotiate long-term supply agreements
- Provide technical expertise on avionics systems compatibility, certifications (STC, TSO), and installation requirements
- Collaborate with engineering to develop customized retrofit solutions
- Assist customers with regulatory compliance (CAAC/FAA/EASA mandates)
- Manage and grow key accounts including airlines, operators, MROs and OEMs
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and customer engagement
- Represent company at aviation trade shows, conferences and customer meetings
- Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity tracking
- Work with logistics/supply chain to ensure on-time order fulfillment of avionics components
- Establish aftermarket sales management process to improve efficiency and customer retention
- Provide market intelligence/feedback to product management on emerging customer needs
- Commission-driven role with a focus on expanding aftermarket service revenue streams.
- Frequent travel (40~60%) as required to support customer, presentations and industry events in China and other regions
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
- Degree inAviation, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 3+ years inavionics/aviation aftermarket sales or technical sales
- Strong knowledge ofavionics systems
- Familiarity with aviation distribution networks and OEM/MRO workflows
- Proven track record meeting sales targets in B2B environment
- Understanding ofaviation certifications(CAAC/FAA Part 21/145, EASA, STC process)
- Excellent communication, presentation and sales analytics
- Fluent in both Chinese and English
Qualifications Desired:
- 5+ years in aviation aftermarket distribution sales(avionics components preferred)
- Experience withavionics retrofit programs
- Knowledge ofavionics software/digital solutions
- Existing relationships withairlines/MROsin assigned territory
- Strong communication and presentation skills as measured by previous technical presentations to customers and/or key stakeholders highly desired.
- A high-level of self-motivation, commitment and activity to attain corporate and personal goals.
- Ability and willingness to travel as required.
