Brief Description:

• The Hardware Engineer will perform function, performance and qualification test for avionics product from hardware perspective, include: planning, requirement management, validation and verification, lifecycle engineering. The role will require skills on ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure), ESS (Environmental Stress Screen) and environmental qualification test.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain hardware test plan and test cases based on HW requirements.
• Build the test bench, conduct hardware TC/TP, generate test reports. Work with other HW engineer to investigate the root causes if issues are found.
• Define and develop the test equipment required for HW test, including equipment required for requirement based HW test, ATP and ESS
• Generate hardware development artifacts according to DO-254, DO-160, ARP-4754, DO-
• 297 and related AC required;
• Work with other test engineers to develop and maintain test plan and test procedure development for Environment qualification test, and investigate issues, provide proposal and solution.
• Product CTSO minimum performance specification and required artifacts development if required.
• Develop and manage tasks to meet cost, schedule, scope, and deliverable goals;
• Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that customer requirements are achieved.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HW test and debug, with experience in test equipment design and development
• Familiar with Environment qualification test, including Temperature / Humidity/ Shock/ Vibration/ Power Parameters/ EMI/ EMC Susceptibility/ Lightning testing, etc.
• Familiar with general lab instruments such DMM, scope, logic analyzer and network analyzer
• Solid oral and written communication skills (Chinese Mandarin and English)

Qualifications Desired:

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
• Avionics systems development and test experience will be a plus
• Knowledge and experience of avionics standards such as ARINC 653, ARINC 664, ARINC
• 429, ARINC 825, and DO-160, DO-254, DO-297 ARP4754, TSO etc.
• Experience in ATP and ESS test, including building test equipment is highly desired
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills within cross-functional team environment will be a plus
• Project management knowledge and experience will be a plus
